A Winner Shall Be Chosen This Day!!!

First and foremost, I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who entered. You've helped to spread the word about our lovely shop, and it is truly appreciated <3 ((Hugs))
Before we announce the winner I thought you'd like to get a gimps of the super exciting process of picking the chosen one...... champion...... conqueror.......number get the point :D

I carefully typed...(In a seriously cute font if I do say so myself ;)...printed, cut, and folded almost a hundred entry strips (For lack of better word. If anyone actually knows the correct name for them, I would greatly appreciate that information).

Then, I placed them in this ever so festive bag, and took photos with
an adorable little snowman...............cause he's........well........adorable.

After that came the mixing. My daughter worked her hand to the bone with all the mixing (Yes I went there ;) ......such an over achiever ;)
And finally....we reveal.....The winner!!!!

Wintry Blue, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and It's Almost Time!!

Busy, busy, busy...just the way I like it!

Here's the newest addition to our holiday line-up.

This blue snowflake collar is oh so sparkly ;) There is silvery glitter throughout the material...I just fell in love with it! It's accented with a  coordinating sheer blue bow with lovely satin edging. And of course I had to add a silver bell...It is the holiday season after all ;)

This would be a perfect Hanukkah gift for your four legged family member, or a wintry present just for fun :D

 On the home front...
It's almost Thanksgiving!...or in my house...Pre-Christmas...don't judge ;)

It's tradition in my family to have our Christmas decorations up by a week before Thanksgiving....yes...we are hard core ;) After cooking for days, and eating all of our Thanksgiving wonderfulness, (Oh, and wonderfulness it is ;) we take the evening to rest.
The next morning, on the busiest shopping day of the year...the highly competitive, brings out the animal in all of us but it's so worth it for the sales...Gasp!...Black Friday, we go and cut down our Christmas tree :D
That's the day we get hot cocoa and mini candy canes, and fight over who gets to choose the tree this year...I mean..enjoy each other as a family ;)

Oh, and who can forget about our collar giveaway!!! Today is the last day to enter. We'll be pulling the name of the winner tomorrow so spread the word. Your friends and neighbors could have a chance to win a free collar of their choice!! Leave a comment below to get yourself entered an additional time!

Much good fortune to all :D

Dog Bone Toys, Pastel Rainbows, and Can You Believe It...I Found Jesus!

So I've been working hard to fill the need for holiday items and loving every minute of it ;) Christmas and Hanukkah dog bone toys and sets are all the rage this season :D And they squeak!

Cute as a button right?

If you know anything about me, you know I have a thing for plaid.....If you don't know anything about me, know that I have a thing for plaid ;)
So here's the newest addition to our Holiday collar collection....
Da..da da daaaaa! The Jingle Bells pet collar. These can be created for dogs or cats.

With all this holiday loveliness I've been craving some pastel. I discovered the sweetest glittery pastel rainbow fabric and could not stop myself from making a collar out if it. Come on....It's covered in glitter!!

Also designed for dogs or cats :D Available with transitional pink to white, or blue to white bow.

Last but not least...I found Jesus....Literally.
I was cleaning the house and came across...well..a cross ;) I have do idea where this little crucifix came from but hey...who am I to question.....
Ya think it's a sign?

Next up...Holiday feeders, inspired by pinkness and whatever pops into my semi-twisted imagination ;)

Best of health and happiness to all <3

New Toys and My Infernal Internal Clock

This week at Fastiges' Made With Love.....Wow, that sounds like the opening to a soap opera...Anyhow we now have a fantastic line of pet toys!! Now I haven't posted them all in the shop yet, but here are the first few :)

I made them for Christmas celebrating cats, and Hanukkah celebrating cats :D

Now I must tell you, my cousin was laughing at the many mousy poses, but as I explained to her....Who doesn't love action shots! Come on, you know they're entertaining. Maybe I'll even make some Gif'S next time and really make it (For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, Gif's are those little moving pictures ;)

These, ever so shiny cat toys are the culmination of my organic catnip growing efforts. It's a lovely plant, but trying to keep my own cat away from it has been a bit of an adventure...She's very crafty..Insert evil snicker here :o

Needless to say, they come Florence (Our cat) approved.
As a matter of fact she has given high recommendations...although she has been known to have a weakness for glittery things with bells ;)

The other listing is a candy cane squeaker toy for dogs.

I added a sparkly heart and bright green bow as an accent. I'm all about the embellishments if you haven't noticed.Taking the extra time to add them makes everything just a little more special. At least that's my philosophy :) The squeaker is in its own matching pocket for extra durability :D

What's going on at home you ask? Well I'll tell you...daylight savings time...Agh! I normally get up at 5am,  so I was rather looking forward to the whole Fall back thing, you know? Extra hour of sleep and all that. My internal clock however has not gotten the memo. When I look at the clock in the morning the time says....GASP...4am! No lie...this is actually happening. I can only hope it will resolve itself, or I'll be considering drastic maybe quantities. Yes, if it comes down to it I would go that far! Darn you daylight savings! (shakes fist repeatedly and with great emphasis)

Up next some pretty in pink ;)

Wishing you all good health and fortune :D

Woowoo!! Armed Forces Bed Update and Some Fun Little Extras

Finally....finished the Armed Forces Pet Bed....Yes, I am doing my happy dance ;) I thoroughly enjoyed creating this series. I am in awe of the sacrifices our military makes to insure we are able to have happy peaceful lives.
I'm so very pleased with the way it came out, and am offering it in U.S. Marines, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard as well :D

The time consuming part of initial designs, aside from deciding what the overall look and dimensions will be, is creating a pattern for each individual embellishment. Depending on how many sizes will be available, I 'll have to make one set of patterns for each size. But It's so worth the results ;)

In other news, I hope everyone had a happy, safe All Hallows Eve. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I upped the anti this year and added  pumpkin Crème brûlée and hot apple grog...I know...Yummy :D
I of course, I spiked mine...What can I say, It was a long day of cooking and party with the kids and By Gum I earned it!
Don't judge me ;)

That's it for now...Up next...Well I'll give you a little hint...It involves squeakers and bells :D

Wishing you health and happiness
